Mission

Our mission is to equip underprivileged kids and youth to grow in their relationship with Christ and improve their quality of life. More than being a ministry that gives away resources, we seek to help kids get an education, develop their mind & creativity, and grow in their overall life abilities, like the ability to have thriving relationships, know God personally, and transition into capable, healthy adulthood.

From big to small, broad to deep

We do this mostly through small classes—tutoring, vocational skills, or Bible study. As we build relationships with kids and their families, we encourage them into the smaller classes where deeper development and mentorship happens.

One by One has three main ministry categories—child evangelism & discipleship, youth evangelism & discipleship, and child sponsorship (after-school programs)—each overseen by a different director. However, our ministry directors work closely together as many kids are involved in several areas at once

Child Evangelism & Discipleship

(Ages 5 to 11)  Kids join us Saturday mornings and Wednesday for worship, teaching, skits, and games—all to guide them towards knowing Christ personally.

Youth Evangelism & Discipleship

(Ages 12-25)   Youth join us Sunday evening for worship & teaching and throughout the week for Bible study and discipleship.

After-School Programs
(Child Sponsorship)

(Ages 6-17)  Kids/youth join us for several hours a week for help with homework, tutoring, vocational skills training, counseling, and mentoring. Through this program they are encouraged to serve as junior leaders in other areas of ministry. When kids are matched with a sponsor, they receive school supplies and some special assistance to help ensure their success.
